Recent Work

coverToday I had a day off from work and I decided to grab my guitar to record something. I already made two titles some weeks before –  so now there are three which I added to a new playlist called „Übergang“ (transition). Title 2 is from today and  – like title 3 – recorded with my still bad guitar playing skills (I’m still a beginner…), a simple audio cable into the mic port of my soundcard and a software called „Audacity“.… weiterlesen

Hiking

I want to share some pictures from our hiking trip to the mountain „Hoher Freschen“ in Austria last weekend. We stuck our car in the ditch at a mountain road and had to ask a group of austrians for help in order to push the car out of the mud and we didn’t reached the top of the mountain because the narrow ridge with the steep flanks was to dangerous for us without any climbing equipment – but anyway it was a nice trip trough beautiful european landscape.… weiterlesen

Harvesting

This weekend we  gathered apples and plums that were fallen down at a nearby meadow with scattered fruit trees. We also picked blackberries and yarrow (to make tea). At home we made jam from the plums and the berries. We used refined fruit sugar and some apples (because of their pectin) as a replacement for gelling sugar and flavoured the plum-yam with cinnamon. The apples are to sour for eating but  I guess as dried rings they will be quite tasty.… weiterlesen
